First growth of Pauillac, drawn from the walled Enclos vineyard beside the Gironde. The 2008 is classically proportioned Latour: cassis, cedar, graphite and iron over a dense, tightly woven core, with the firm, slow-building tannin and long saline finish the estate is known for.
