Frederic Savart Les Mesneux La Moufle 1er Cru Extra Brut 2020

Frederic Savart farms a small grower estate in Ecueil and Les Mesneux, on the southern flank of the Montagne de Reims. La Moufle comes from a single parcel in the 1er Cru village of Les Mesneux, vinified in barrel and bottled extra brut with minimal dosage. Pale and taut, with citrus zest, white flowers and a chalky, faintly smoky texture; fine, tight mousse and a dry, mineral finish. From the 2020 harvest.
